6.00pm
Our evening service is also held at St Sidwell’s C of E Primary School, starting at 6.00pm.
What to expect
It’s not easy walking into a new place, and we want to make visitors feel as comfortable as possible. So here’s roughly what to expect at a service at All Saints:
- You will be welcomed at the entrance and given a service sheet.
- Our service begins with a call to worship and songs of praise to God. Feel free to join in or not as you wish – we don’t mind!
- We confess our sins to God and are assured of his mercy and forgiveness.
- We pray bringing our requests to God as one person speaks and we respond ‘Amen’.
- We listen to God as the Bible is read and preached.
- We respond to God by professing our faith in him.
- We are welcomed to the Lord’s Table to receive bread and wine.
- We are sent out to serve God in the rest of our lives.
- Many of us stick around after the service to spend time together.
Why do we do things this way? Find out more here.
There’s no special dress code; feel free to wear what you would usually wear.
Children
Children are welcome to any of our services and we try to help our children join in with our worship of God. We are used to children making a noise, so please don’t worry about that. There is a small foyer area in our current venue if you need to take your children out of the service.
We are in the process of securing a longer-term venue where we will be able to offer age-appropriate teaching in Sunday School groups for children before the morning service.
